About Susan

Namaste and welcome! My name is Susan and I've been teaching yoga since 2001. I am a certified Iyengar Level 2 instructor and am passionate about helping students improve their physical and mental well-being through yoga.

I first discovered yoga during a stressful time in my life and it quickly became a way for me to find inner peace and balance. After completing my first teacher training, I began taking classes at the Iyengar institute in order to further my knowledge for my own practice and in how to teach others with intelligence about the body. I knew I wanted to share the benefits of yoga with others and help them find their own sense of calm and strength.

In my classes, I focus on alignment, breath, and awareness. I believe that yoga is not just about the physical postures, but also about the connection between the body and the mind. My goal is to help students develop their own practice and cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves.

I work with students of all levels, from beginners to experienced yogis. Whether you're looking to increase your flexibility, build strength, reduce stress, or simply find some peace and quiet in your day, I'm here to help.
